ROAR SEND  is a course for school mental health leads, or any other professional wanting to increase skills and understanding. The course assumes you have completed either ROAR Primary, or ROAR Secondary  (or alternative).

The 2 half day course will cover the following five modules; Labels and language, Anxiety, Sensory processing, Hidden risk factors to depression, and working with parents.

Children with additional needs are more likely to suffer from mental health problems: the training course explores the reasons for this, and ways to overcome some of these barriers, whilst building resilience in children and young people.

This training will be delivered by Merseyside Youth Association RAISE team via zoom on 17th & 18th February 2022 9.30am-1pm.

Training cost: £595 per person.
